On behalf of everyone at WCDE, I want to express our excitement for joining you in tackling another season of dance!

It has been inspiring to work alongside the faculty in preparation for our upcoming tour. These are the world's best. Their passion for keeping student improvement at the center of everything we do is the reason I am so proud to spearhead this team.

We have been applying our full focus on developing new and exciting programming for you. From our new breakout classes to our re-focussed competition scoring system, we are excited to level up and continue contributing to all of your hard work.

You are our purpose,

Additionally, each Elite Dancer selected in a regional city will receive: a year-long convention scholarship and and a National Finals Scholarship. Each Runner-Up Elite Dancer will receive: a single convention scholarship and a National Finals Scholarship.

All Elite and Runner-up dancers attending National Finals and participating in the Elite Dancer Program will perform a routine togehter in the National Finals Gala. This performance will be choreographed by the WCDE Faculty.

  • You must attend all of your classes on both days of the convention to be eligible for scholarship awards.
  • You can only be awarded a specific scholarship classification once per season.
  • If you are attending more than one regional convention during a WCDE tour season, and have won a scholarship in a previous city, you may audition for other scholarship award classifications.
  • Substituting or transferring scholarships is not allowed.
  • Scholarships can not be used as a studio credit.
  • If you leave the studio you were attending when you won a scholarship, that scholarship becomes null and void. You may re-audition with the new studio you are attending the following season.
